Join Brooklyn Poets outside on Montague Street for some playful pop-up poetry. Enjoy short lessons and hands-on activities every half hour from 12:30-3:30. No experience with poetry is necessary. All ages are welcome (parents, too).
Brooklyn Poets is a non-profit organization located at 144 Montague Street. Their mission is to honor the literary heritage of Brooklyn by celebrating and cultivating community and craft through a wide range of educational programs and events accessible to all. They are excited to extend their offerings to children and young adults.
Montague Open Streets is presented by the Montague Street BID in partnership with the Brooklyn Heights Association and the NYC Department of Transportation.
